Its advanced full-range swept-source technology enables imaging depths of up to 6 mm for the vitreous, retina, and choroid, and up to 14 mm for anterior segment structures. Combined with a 3.8-micron optical resolution and 1060 nm wavelength, the YalkAid supports enhanced imaging performance in patients with cataracts and vitreous opacities while minimizing fixation distractions during examination.
The system also supports wide-area 16 mm line scans and 12 mm 3D/OCTA scans, offering broader imaging coverage compared to conventional SD-OCT and standard SS-OCT systems.
