Network Medical CORONET® Donor Corneal Trephine Vacuum Punch is specifically designed to deliver reliable and consistent vertical incisions during donor graft preparation, helping improve wound architecture and reduce endothelial cell loss.
The free-rotating trephine incorporates exclusive CORONET® Cathedral Blade Technology, utilizing an ultra-thin and ultra-sharp blade to minimize tissue distortion and undercut while producing precise vertical cuts for improved donor-to-recipient approximation. Its double-sided Cathedral blade design also prevents retention of the graft button after cutting.
Designed as a complete donor graft preparation system, the device is suitable for PK, DALK, and DSAEK/DSEK procedures. The sharp cutting action requires minimal downward pressure, helping reduce tissue trauma during preparation.
Patent-protected 360° graft visualization windows improve surgical accuracy, while the anatomically shaped bowl gently supports the tissue and aids centralization. Marker holes help reduce the risk of bubble formation, and the unique base design provides a stable platform that can be securely held during donor preparation.
The trephine blade is biocompatible and optically non-refractive, and each unit is supplied with a protective dust cover to shield the graft from contamination during transfer.
Supplied sterile, single use only, with a declared 5-year shelf life, the device is manufactured in the UK.
