Network Medical CORONET® Donor Corneal Trephine Punch is specifically designed to provide reliable and consistent vertical incisions during donor graft preparation, supporting improved wound architecture and reduced endothelial cell loss.
The free-rotating corneal trephine incorporates exclusive CORONET® Cathedral Blade Technology, utilizing an ultra-thin and ultra-sharp blade to minimize tissue distortion and undercut while creating precise vertical cuts for improved approximation between the donor button and patient cornea. Its double-sided Cathedral blade design prevents retention of the graft button once cutting is complete.
Designed as a complete donor graft preparation system, the device is suitable for PK, DALK, and DSAEK/DSEK procedures. The sharp and clean cutting action requires minimal downward pressure, helping reduce trauma to donor tissue during preparation.
Patent-protected 360° graft visualization windows enhance surgical accuracy, while the anatomically shaped bowl gently supports the tissue and assists with centralization. Marker holes help reduce the risk of bubble formation, and the unique base design provides a stable platform during donor preparation.
The trephine features an all-metal non-glare blade and is available with or without vacuum functionality to suit different surgical preferences. Each unit is supplied with a protective dust cover to help shield the graft from contamination during transfer.
Supplied sterile, single use only, with a declared 5-year shelf life, the device is manufactured in the UK.
