The Huvitz HAB-8000X Auto Blocker is an automated lens processing system that integrates frame tracing, lens measurement, and blocking into a single platform. With a simple start-button operation, the system automatically reads the frame, identifies the optical centre, and performs lens blocking, supporting an efficient lens preparation workflow.
The HAB-8000X features Digital Scan & Hole Detection, allowing demo lenses to be scanned and displayed on the LCD in a 1 : 1 scale, with frame curve data, FPD, and minimum lens diameter transmitted to the system in real time. Its integrated high-performance lensmeter automatically recognises different lens types, including single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses, and measures SPH, CYL, and axis for lens positioning.
The system also provides digital pattern and editing functions for modifying frame shapes and designs. Its file converter can extract frame shapes, drilling information, and step-bevel lines from supported image and CAD file formats, providing additional flexibility for customised lens processing.
