Alchimia GOT Multi SF6 is a high-purity ophthalmic gas developed for intraocular tamponade during vitreoretinal surgery. Composed of 100% fluorinated sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) with a purity greater than 99.96%, it is supplied in a reusable aluminium cylinder for repeated clinical use.
The specially designed 75 ml cylinder features a multi-layer pressure-resistant bag, allowing safe and reliable air transportation without shipping restrictions. The package includes a complete gas injection set with a pre-assembled syringe, 0.2 µm sterilizing filter, 30G needle, and patient wristband for efficient surgical preparation.
A non-expansile 20% gas concentration is achieved by mixing 10 ml of GOT SF6 with 40 ml of air in the included 50 ml syringe.
