Alchimia GOT Multi C3F8 is a high-purity ophthalmic gas designed for intraocular tamponade during vitreoretinal surgery. Composed of 100% fluorinated octafluoropropane (C3F8) with a purity greater than 99.95%, it is supplied in a reusable aluminium cylinder for repeated clinical use.
The specially engineered 75 ml cylinder features a multi-layer pressure-resistant bag, allowing safe and reliable air transportation without shipping restrictions. The package includes a complete gas injection set consisting of a pre-assembled syringe with a 0.2 µm sterilizing filter, a 30G needle, and a patient wristband for convenient surgical preparation.
A non-expansile 12% gas concentration is achieved by mixing 6 ml of GOT C3F8 with 44 ml of air in the included 50 ml syringe.
